’50 years of Catwalk’

Year 2002 at the Hilton Hotel, Brisbane.

The second time Danielle Harris and I presented this fabulous fashion event where I called on 40 top male and female models over the past 5 decades, to donate their time. It was a sell out event for Cord Blood Bank, Mater Hospital. Stunning day of catwalk history. A day of much reminiscing, you could feel the love in the room. A lot of the models walked with their children. Including Jan Rooney with Giaan Rooney OAM and many other successful models.

Megan Gillespie was home from Europe and walked carrying my second grandson, Ethan.

June Dally Watkins OAM was the lead model for the show. Having been Australia’s first top model, modelling for Christian Dior in Sydney, 1948.

Funds raised donated to Dr Robyn Rodwell on behalf of Cord Blood Bank, Mater.
