Pronunciation of luxury fashion brands.

I was delighted to read the article by Georgie Murray, in the current Style Magazine on this non-negotiable subject of how to pronounce these luxe brands we all talk about.

One that comes to mind regularly is when Ralph Lauren is sometimes referred to as Ralph Lor-en. It has always been Lauren as in a girls name 'Lauren', not 'Lor-en' as in Italian movie star 'Sophia Loren'.
