“I’ve recently been in Europe for the early spring 2012 and Paris was overflowing with delicious sorbet/sherbet colours and icy pastels; and Italy went wild for brights – particularly orange, turquoise, yellow and green. Here in Australia, we will embrace all these trends – the choice is ours!"

Testimonials

"Di, thank you for a wonderful and enlightening experience.  Not only did you listen to what I hoped to achieve through the styling process, but you soon worked out a plan based on your intimate and unique knowledge of style, fashion and the city’s premier retailers.  We did not waste time on clothes that were poorly designed, overpriced or inappropriate. No more baggy trousers or ill-fitting jackets here. You have set me on a path of enhancing my personal brand, focused on style and sophistication, while at the same time retaining a sense of individuality. Thank you Di." Hong Kong 2010 from Dani

Hi Mum,

After arriving in Hong Kong after a 13-year break, I was stunned and excited by the changes.I could not get over how much industry is going on up here and how much cleaner it was generally – in particular, the water in the harbour. On arrival, we checked into the Four Seasons – which is out of this world – and headed up to the Stanley Markets. In hindsight, I would have preferred more time in Central.

We had a very fun trip to Shenzhen, up over the Chinese border. Shopping is great for knock-off designer bits – it’s really more about the experience – but the bartering is a lot of fun.Dining is exceptional in HK with great venues such as the China Club, where the décor is olde-worlde, and the must-have is the duck pancakes! For more funky eateries, there’s Isola for Italian, in the IFC building overlooking Hong Kong Harbour and  Wagyu up near Soho, and the antique and art areas.

For shopping it is hard to go past the IFC shopping centre attached to the Four Seasons. The Giuseppe Zanotti shoes( see image)  were sensational as were the gold wedges in Kate Spade.Zara had dramatically improved since I saw it last in Las Vegas; and Lane Crawford looked impeccable.Generally, I was loving the amount of denim variations as it is my favourite fabric.A must-do when in HK is to hire a Jaspers Junk from Pier 9 and head to Lamma Island for lunch, then over to Repulse Bay for a swim whilst sipping Rosé.

What a vibrant city

Loving it
